It’s time to party with XE UK

DESPITE the doom and gloom of the credit crunch, for one North East company there has never been a better time to party non-stop.

It’s Time To Party With XE UK – a one stop shop for all things party related – is based in Horden, County Durham, and expanding its current premises and taking on more staff to fulfill the growing demands made on its party services.

The company, which has been operating for over five years, offers a range of products and services from fancy dress and club wear to room theming, balloon decor, personalised products, T-shirt printing and inflatable games hire, as well as children’s entertainers, magicians, face painters and air-brush tattooing.

Recently the company launched its services at the corporate market and the resulting success will see them treble their current square footage and employ two new members of staff.

Dominic Cassidy, one of the two partners of XE UK, said: “Although we appreciate that the credit crunch has hit people quite hard, there is nothing like a good party to boost morale and lift spirits. Taking over the premises next door will allow us to create a design studio and dedicated corporate area as well as doubling our stock area so we can commit to more products – it’s a very exciting time.”

This commitment will also see the company launching a new service – balloon bouquets. Similar to a floral bouquet but using balloon ‘flowers’, the bouquets can be collected or personally delivered, with additional extras such as champagne and teddy bears available. “This is a bespoke service offering a completely unique gift,” said Keith Stirman, XE UK partner. “Like a floral bouquet, you can decide how much you want to spend and what colours you want but balloons last longer, you can add other items – and you can even get the bouquet delivered by a gorrilla-gram if you want! In fact, you can have pretty much anything as long as we have enough notice.”
