The Business Advice Centre in Morpeth

WANNABE entrepreneurs continue to realise their dreams thanks to a top business agency.

NBSL (Northumberland Business Service Ltd) is the only enterprise agency operating in Northumberland.

The enterprise expertise is not only recognised throughout the county, it is also acknowledged across the region as NBSL manages the North East Regional Leadership and Management Programme for the Learning & Skills Council’s Train to Gain initiative.

NBSL chief executive Phil Langton said: “We are proud to manage this very important contract in the North East as the development of our strategic decision makers within businesses and organisations can lead to improvements in so many critical areas in the operation of a business.”

“NBSL is also able to offer assistance to clients that are pre start-up and require guidance, information and support to help get their businesses off the ground including advice on funding opportunities.”

NBSL also offers clients free workshops ranging from web design, trading on eBay, marketing, rules and regulations and bookkeeping.

“We aim to help all of our clients to be fully prepared and able to meet the challenges that come along when you operate your own business,” said Phil.

“NBSL helps hundreds of businesses every year to start to trade and we can then help them to grow and develop through the Leadership & Management Programme.

“We can also assist clients who are under threat of redundancy through the Chain Links Programme or have young children under the age of 16 through the Flexible Families Programme to help them start up in business too,” added Phil.

NBSL has six offices based in Alnwick, Ashington, Berwick, Blyth, Hexham and Morpeth where a team of business advisers are available to meet with clients.

The facilities at all of NBSL’s offices include:
