Food bar with a touch of class

PIC a Bun Food Bar opened in February 2006 and has gone from strength to strength. Carol and Ashley Pickering wanted to inject a touch of class to the Riverside Industrial Estate.

The take away is all open-plan. Therefore the customer can watch while food is being prepared and can also view the high standards of hygiene on show.

Carol states: “Pic a Bun does look a bit expensive, but customers are delighted when they get exactly what they want, at very inexpensive prices.

“We get lots of different customers, from workmen, office workers and a lot of families, who have all become part of the Pic a Bun family.

“We always strive to be the best, and only use top quality produce.”

The Restaurant Café was opened in November last year, and is proving to be extremely popular with the Riverside community.

You can sit and relax in comfortable surroundings, enjoy a coffee, have breakfast/lunch, meet a friend or have a business chat.

People who have used the restaurant come back time and time again, and that speaks volumes.

But if you don’t have time to sit in, the take away provides the same high standard of food and service.

The cafe also has a delivery service, which is very popular.

“We look forward to seeing you at Pic a Bun. We know you’ll come back,” says Carol.
