Pub operator Mitchells & Butlers today said its Ember Inns and Sizzling Pub Company brands had driven sales growth as it posted a 2pc rise in operating profits to £140m. Mitchells said like-for-like sales in residential pubs, which include Ember, Sizzling, Toby Carveries, Harvester and Vintage Inns, had risen 6.4pc in the 32 weeks to April 10. Read
