Toilet made pre-1991: 10 litres per flush; made 1991-2001: eight litres per flush, made post-2001: five litres per flush.
Tap dripping: 15 litres per day.
Kitchen tap running: nine litres per minute; bathroom basin tap running: six litres per minute.
Dishwasher made pre-2000: 25 litres per load; made post-2000: normal setting 14 litres per load, eco setting 10 litres per load.
Washing up – under running tap: nine litres per minute; in a bowl: eight litres per bowl; in a plugged sink: 16 litres per sink.
