Specialising in crisis management and media relations, Kathryn brings to the role more than 10 years’ industry experience having worked for @pr in Middlesbrough since 1997.

ALAN JONES, right, is the new manager at the Energy Saving Trust’s North-east advice centre in Billingham.

Alan will be responsible for helping residents and businesses find ways of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and saving money on fuel bills.

Meanwhile, Steve Hunter, left, has moved from the Billingham centre to become regional manager overseeing the organisation’s advice centres in the North-east, North Yorkshire and Humberside and South and West Yorkshire.

THE Middlesbrough office of chartered surveyor and property consultancy storeys:ssp is making a splash with a wave of new promotions, appointments and exam successes.

Richard Stevenson has been appointed director, new associate Jonny Weastell will head up the firm’s property management department and Andy Thompson has transferred from the Newcastle office to manage the agency department.

Meanwhile Mel Brown and Olivia Sliufko, who joined the firm in 2005, have qualified as chartered surveyors after completing their RICS exams.
