NORTH East veterinary practice Blythman and Partners continues its expansion with an appointment and a new branch.
The new Heddon branch, west of Newcastle, consists of a team of four. Two have transferred from other surgeries to join the branch and practice manager Graham Chambers will also work there.
New to the practice and joining the team is part-time receptionist Bethany Spurr, 20, of Heddon, who is the owner of two cats and a four-month-old puppy named Pheobe.
Bethany said: “I am delighted to be joining such a dedicated and established team in the region and look forward to all the challenges and fun that lie ahead. The new surgery means we can provide help and support to the area and continue with the service that Blythman and Partners is renowned for.”
Head nurse Caroline Dorney, who has worked for Blythman and Partners for more than six years, said: “As a business we wanted to take on a new challenge and build up a new branch in new territory.
“Everyone in the community has been very friendly and made us feel immediately welcome. This branch attends to many farm animals in the area, so we literally look after all creatures great and small.”
