MORE than 15,000 sq ft of office accommodation on Teesside has been let by Jomast’s commercial property arm to Working Links, a national organisation that helps the long-term unemployed get back into work.
The company has leased 7,200 sq ft of office space at Apex House in Silver Street, Stockton, and 8,000 sq ft at Queens Square in Middlesbrough after winning a major Government ‘Flexible New Deal’ contract.
Working Links already has numerous sites across the UK and is planning to launch a further 40 new offices nationally.
Its new Teesside offices open this month.
Working Links is the latest commercial tenant for the Stockton-based developer, Jomast, having recently secured leases on office space in Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
Mark Hill, Jomast’s commercial property manager, said: “Companies like Working Links are seeing a significant growth in demand for their services and, as a result, are reviewing their commercial property requirements to grow their operations.
“Our property portfolio includes fully refurbished offices, modern industrial units and retail premises so we can accommodate the majority of businesses needs across a wide range of uses.”
