AN EXPERIENCED specialist has been head-hunted by web design agency King Design.
Following the celebration of its 10th anniversary and a number of new account wins, King Design has appointed 42-year-old David Patterson, from Blyth.
David brings with him 25 years’ experience in design, art direction, web design and production. He has worked with a diverse selection of clients including Corus, Swallow Hotels, DFDS Seaways, British Steel and Baxi Heating.
His new role will see him working closely with a number of new clients including Henderson Bathrooms, The Kitchen Centre and Keel Row Shopping Centre, as well as working with the company’s existing loyal customers.
Managing director Neil Gatiss said: “David was an obvious choice for us because he has a very impressive portfolio of work on major accounts.
“With the volume of new client wins, it was essential that we recruited another talented creative designer to our growing team at this exciting time.”
The Cramlington-based agency’s recruitment drive comes just weeks after the company announced it was celebrating 10 successful years by planning extensive expansion for the business which will create more job opportunities this year.
Specialising in advertising, corporate design and web development, King Design has maintained a healthy number of regional and national clients including Paramount Windows, Pennine Windows, Budget Windows, Cavendish Kitchens and Free Claim IDC.
Neil added: “We hope to attract a similar calibre of candidates as David as we create further career opportunities down the line.”
