THE region’s business community has this month benefitted from access to a range of business support services thanks to a number of taster events held by the North East Chamber of Commerce.

NECC held three bite-sized taster sessions in October at St James’ Park, Newcastle, the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, and the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough to showcase the range of support services on offer as part of membership to its established business network.

Around 100 members of the region’s business community attended the three events and had the opportunity to experience NECC’s services, including networking and specialist business advice.

NECC events manager Cheryl McCarrick said: “It’s clear the three taster sessions have demonstrated a desire from our business community to recieve further support services available to them.

“More than 4,000 businesses in the region benefit from access to our support services and, as we continue to face challenging trading conditions.”
