The best in the business in Tees Valley
Mar 31 2009 by Karen McLauchlan, Evening Gazette
TEES Valley’s finest have been toasted at the nebusiness awards. From export to environment and small business to services, ten outstanding companies were recognised at the event, held at the University of Teesside.
The awards - organised by the Evening Gazette and its sister paper The Journal on Tyneside - aim to recognise achievement, encourage excellence and celebrate success.
Worthy winners in the Tees Valley sub-regional heat, 84% of whom were new to the awards, are great examples of terrific businesses continuing to succeed despite the recession.
They will now join their counterparts from Durham and Wearside and Tyneside and Northumberland to battle it out at the North-east grand final at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield, on April 30.
