The New and Exciting Way To Buy Meat and Cheese

Further Information

If you find yourself getting bored of the usual substandard meat that you keep finding on your supermarket shelves, you should try buying your meat online.

Farmison is the brainchild of John Pallagi and Lee Simmonds, two friends and colleagues that share a passion for great, quality food. The idea began when they attempted to order rosm veal from a supermarket Christmas brochure only to discover that it has sold out by November.  They decided to pursue by tracking down the source and ordering straight from the farm.  The veal from the farm was great, but the overall shopping experience (packaging, delivery, ease of ordering etc.) wasnt as up to scratch as the product itself.

And so Farmison.com was born...it is short for farm produce in online.   It is a new internet food store providing the finest British produce, directly from small producers across the country (with little or no expertise in marketing or internet retailing) to consumers looking for convenient and tasty alternatives to supermarket shopping.  They work with over 75 of the best independent British suppliers including butchery, fruit and vegetable growers which offer many varieties of seasonal produce, and farmhouse cheeses - more than 60% of which are not available anywhere else online.

Farmison.com have access to an extensive range of rare and native breeds, much more than any other retailer, providing you with an exciting and seasonal choice of food.  The ingredients are used and mastered in the kitchens of world renowned restaurants such as: Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck, Yorke Arms, Northcote Manor, Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, and now they are available to you too, the adventurous foodie!

A good piece of meat is the product of many factors, the breed of the animal, the way it has been reared and fed, and the butchers skill in maturing and cutting it. Farmison.coms meat comes from traditional breeds of animals, often free-range, sometimes organic, but always farmed to higher welfare standards than the industry norm.  Where appropriate, their butchers hang and dry-age the meat in the traditional, natural way, and then cut the carcass to the standard demanded by some of the most prestigious chefs in the land.
