TOUCHSCREEN maker Zytronic could see its technology used in casinos after completing a contract with an international video games specialist.
The Gateshead firm has supplied ACE Interactive with its touch sensors and specially-processed glass to enable the company to develop more interactive lottery and casino games.
Zytronic’s technology, which is sold all over the world, will be used in ACE’s Indago video lottery terminal.
ACE chief executive Michael Koch said: “Zytronic has fulfilled our entire requirement for the Indago front panel, as a one-stop solution comprising many highly-advanced concepts.
“Its overall quality also helped us to meet important acceptance criteria, such as EU emissions, immunity and safety standards.”
Earlier this month Zytronic announced plans to create 50 new jobs as it invests £3.2m in buying its 60,000sq ft Blaydon headquarters.
