TILLY Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is participating in the Will Aid 2011 campaign, aiming once more to raise thousands of pounds for charities with the help and generosity of its clients.
The firm will take part in National Make A Will Month in aid of Will Aid, in November. Throughout the month, anyone wishing to make a will can receive the advice of a solicitor at Tilly Bailey & Irvine, and instead of paying the solicitors fees is invited to make a donation to charity.
Carolyn Tilly, partner with Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors and specialist in Wills and Probate, commented: National Make a Will Month should be the catalyst to make people think about either writing a will, or reviewing their current will.
It is vital that people write a will to ensure that, in the event of their death, the people they want to benefit do so. However, once a will is written it is all too easy to forget about it. We recommend you review your will every three or four years to ensure it still does the job you need it to, and is not affected by changes in the law, or changes in your circumstances.
Were inviting you to write or review your will in November with TBI. Book an appointment and you will know not only that you are looking after those around you, but also that youre helping the Will Aid charities which do vital work in this country and around the world.
In National Make A Will Month 2010, Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors was the campaigns most successful fundraiser in the North-east raising £7,575 for Will Aid. It was also the 11th most successful firm in the UK.
Will Aid supports nine charities ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF, Sightsavers and Trocaire. Will Aid suggests that the minimum donation for a basic single will is £85 and for a pair of basic mirror wills is £125.
Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is one of Will Aids longest supporting firms, having participated in the scheme since 1998. It is one of Teessides leading legal firms with offices in Hartlepool, Wynyard Park, Stockton and Barnard Castle.
