NEWCASTLE-BASED Ward Hadaway has been selected as one of only seven firms to appear under the Employment and Pensions category of the Legal Services framework agreement, offering legal advice to a range of public sector organisations over the next four years.
The framework agreement was awarded to Ward Hadaway by OGCbuying.solutions, an executive agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury, following a competitive procurement process which saw 32 firms tender for a place on the panel.
It means that customers throughout the public sector can place orders with Ward Hadaway under standard terms and conditions for legal advice on Employment and Pensions. The range of organisations which buy products and services via Buying Solutions ranges from local authorities to central government.
Jamie Martin, managing partner at Ward Hadaway, said: “This is a significant step for the firm and a testament to the hard work and expertise of our Employment and Pensions teams. Securing a Catalist Framework Agreement with Buying Solutions is a great achievement because competition is fierce and the evaluation process robust.
“We now look forward to working with more clients in the public sector, both regionally and nationally, and helping them to carry out their objectives.”
