TWENTY-TWO lawyers at Watson Burton have been named among the best in the country by a national legal guide, each recommended by clients for outstanding quality of advice and service.
The 22 “Leaders in their Fields” singled out by Chambers UK guide to the Legal Profession 2007-2008 boosts the 2006 total of 18 named experts from Newcastle-based Watson Burton.
The 2007-8 lawyers highlighted by clients during Chambers’ research are Gillian Hall and Robin Adams for corporate work, Rob Langley, Roddy Gordon, Mark Lawton and Lawrence Bruce for construction, Richard Freeman-Wallace, Ken Millband, Barney Frith and Louise Kelly for property, Julian Gill and Andrew Cawkwell for insolvency, Allan Henderson and Mark Heath for dispute resolution, John McMullen and Paul McGowan for employment, Bryan Riley for planning, Ed Meikle for intellectual property, Karen Eckstein for professional negligence, Keith Hately for private client, and Lyn Ayrton and Stephen Duffy for family law.
Rob Langley, Watson Burton’s senior partner: “It’s always rewarding to be recognised by a leading national law guide. To boost our total “Leaders” significantly year on year is exceptional. As the named experts are those recommended by clients and businesses, it is particularly worthwhile.”
