New faces join Sintons’ group

SOLICITORS Elaine Campbell and Alok Loomba have joined Newcastle law firm Sintons LLP’s commercial group.

Loomba joins from Hay and Kilner as a solicitor in the expanding commercial property department.

He said: “My work involves dealing with all aspects of commercial property including sales, purchases, landlord and tenant and property development work.

“I do a great deal of work for high profile local clients in the leisure, entertainment and care home sectors. Having dealt with several of the partners and other fee earners on a regular basis, I was already aware of the quality and volume of work being carried out at Sintons and also the high standard of client care for which the firm is recognised. It was therefore an easy decision to make the move.”

Campbell joins the company and commercial department from Newcastle firm Dickinson Dees,.

She said: “The quality of the work being carried out is important to me. The much broader spectrum of work that I am involved with here means I can build on the commercial experience I already have while increasing my experience in other areas.

“I also wanted to be part of a firm where I could build a real relationship with my clients and where looking after the needs of clients remained the focal point of the business. My parents were Sintons’ clients and had commented on the great experience they received from a client care perspective.”

Chris Welch, partner at Sintons and joint head of the company & commercial department said: “Having enjoyed growth of in excess of 30% across the Commercial Group last year, we have got off to a flying start this year.

“The value and the complexity of the matters which we now deal with as a matter of course is continuing to increase.

“The addition of a further two solicitors to join the 30 strong commercial group will assist with the continuing development and growth this important part of our business.”
