Phil is Mincoffs’ latest partner

MINCOFFS law firm has expanded its 100-strong team with the appointment of Phil Dean as a partner in its growing commercial property department.

With more than 10 years’ experience in commercial property Mr Dean has represented both public and private sector clients.

Originally from West Yorkshire, Mr Dean moved to the North East as a student in 1989 before training as a solicitor in South Shields.

He said: “I hope to start a new and exciting chapter for the Mincoffs’ commercial property department and I am thrilled to be working among some of the region’s best and most well respected legal brains.

“The strong team will ensure that our clients receive professional, high quality commercial advice and ensure deals are processed swiftly and within budget, it will also guarantee that Mincoffs retains its reputation for individually tailored high level of customer service.”

Mincoffs senior partner Howard Gold said: “We are delighted with the arrival of Phil to strengthen our successful commercial property team.

“We are a dynamic business involved in many of the largest commercial property transactions occurring in the North East, his arrival will enable us to continue to provide our clients with the quality service they have come to expect whilst building on our plans for continued growth.”

Mr Dean, who has arrived from Ward Hadaway, is president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce for the North East of England and a council member for NECC.
