NORTH law firm Ward Hadaway has been chosen by the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) to work on a range of property and commercial matters.
The NECC has appointed the firm to provide advice on its property portfolio and related commercial issues.
Ward Hadaway was chosen following a competitive tender process and will work with NECC for the next five years.
Malcolm Lloyd, partner and head of commercial property at Ward Hadaway, said: “NECC is one of the largest and most influential business organisations in the country so we are delighted to have been chosen to help advise it. This is a prestigious seal of approval for the expertise and experience of our property and commercial teams and we will be working hard to ensure NECC gets the best possible service from us.”
NECC represents the interests of more than 4,500 North East businesses on a regional, national and international level.
It has successfully campaigned on issues affecting companies in the region, including improved transport links, boosting the use of North East suppliers in the region’s public sector and removing barriers to economic expansion via its Go For Jobs campaign.
