NEWCASTLE accountancy practice Tait Walker has promoted one of its team to the post of corporate finance manager.
Graham Dotchin, who joined Tait Walker in 2007 as a corporate finance executive, has since gained experience advising Tait Walker’s clients on acquisitions, mergers, disposals and fund raising.
He was closely involved in Tait Walker’s largest deal to date – the sale of Northumberland pharmaceuticals company Specials Laboratory to United Drug plc for £25m in November 2008.
Corporate finance partner Michael Smith said: “Graham has made a considerable contribution to our highly experienced corporate finance team.
“His promotion is a clear reflection of his efforts and the key role he played in the sale of the Specials Laboratory and other deals.
“Going forward, Graham will be instrumental in securing business funding to allow clients to under- take acquisitions, disposal, mergers and other strategic business activities.”
