THE corporate banking team at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has a new regional director for Yorkshire and the North East following the appointment of Jim McAuley.
McAuley will be responsible for a team of seven directors tasked with providing banking and finance solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across the region typically turning over up to £25m.
Based in Yorkshire, he has been with the bank for nearly 35 years and has spent the majority of that time in management roles in the SME marketplace within the bank’s commercial banking division.
McAuley, who lives in Huddersfield and is a retired football referee, said: “We are keen to support all businesses that make up the economy here in Yorkshire and the North East. My team is well placed to offer bespoke support to our existing and potential customers.”
“Each of our relationship managers understands very well the difficulties faced by small and medium-sized businesses at the present time and we are ready and open for business in the SME arena here in the North East of England.”
