AN accountancy firm which has grown quickly since it was opened 18 months ago is about to open its third office.
Stephen Paul opened Valued Accountancy in Consett as a specialist in small business accounting and has since opened an office in Newcastle.
The former partner in Cheshire firm Holland & Co has seen the firm’s revenues grow to £250,000 since then and is about to open a Darlington branch which he hopes will aid its growth to £300,000 in the next year.
He uses Xero accountancy software and has found that giving it to his SME customers helps to keep an eye over an increasing spread of businesses.
The firm has just won two industry awards. Valued was named Fastest Growing Partner by Xero at its awards and Sole Practitioner of the Year by the 2020 Innovations group.
