What did you want to be when you were young?

A nun.

How much was your first pay packet and what did you spend it on?

My first month's pay packet was for £500 and I worked at an estate agents. Paid off part of student loan and bought clothes (a passion of mine - the clothes not paying off loans!).

What's your dream job, other than your current one?

I have no other dream job, my current job is my dream job!

What's the best piece of business advice you have received?

Surround yourself with people who are better than yourself, I got told that from Neil Robinson, OBE ex chairman of the Metro Radio Group who has sadly since passed away.

And the worst?

Any bad advice I tend not to listen to so I can't really remember any.

What is your philosophy when it comes to business?

Always try and do the best you can for the people who work for you, because they in turn will work the best they can for you!

What are your hobbies ?

I don't have time for hobbies, I have two lovely children so they are my hobby.

What's your top business or financial tip?

Don't spend time concerning yourself with what the competition is doing, just set the highest goals you can for your business and constantly try and over-achieve them.

Does anything scare you and if so what?

I am absolutely terrified of dogs.

What would you choose as your epitaph?

She always saw the silver lining.
