What did you want to be when you were young?
Farm or work in the farming industry.
How much was your first pay packet and what did you spend it on?
£75 a week as a farm worker in Cambridge, on a music system for my bright yellow Triumph TR7.
What’s your dream job, other than your current one?
Successful wildlife photographer involved in saving endangered species.
What’s the best piece of business advice you have received?
Have a go and do your best - believe in yourself - and don't be afraid of shouting about yourself when others don’t.
And the worst?
You will not succeed because you don't have the experience.
What is your philosophy when it comes to business?
Plan in detail and with differing scenarios and reassess regularly.
What are your hobbies?
Photography, the outdoors, football and above all else time with my wife and children.
What’s your top business or financial tip?
Standing still is as dangerous as otherwise.
Does anything scare you and if so what?
Not really.
What would you choose as your epitaph?
He kept his feet on the ground, gave his all and really enjoyed work and life to the full.
