Driving school expands to include motorbike training

A TEESSIDE driving school has expanded to include two-wheel training to its operations.

From humble beginnings just two years ago, Exceed Driver Training, which provides learner driver tuition throughout Teesside, Hartlepool and Darlington has expanded in recent months.

The company now has six cars, including an automatic vehicle.

However, Exceed owner Neil Harrison’s passion has always been for motorcycles.

And now the car business is well established he has turned his sights to bikes.

In conjunction with 1 Two One Motorcycle Training of Seaham, a new company has been created - Exceed Driver and Rider Training.

The new company is using Grangefield Community Centre as its base for motorcycle tuition, offering complete courses to both learners and established riders.

Senior motorcycle trainer Brian Gill said: “We are very excited to be bringing this new business to Teesside, we have already had a lot of interest in the services we offer.”

Neil Harrison added: “I am thrilled that we have established this new company so we can now provide quality tuition to both car drivers and motorcycle riders in Teesside and surrounding areas.”

A recent open day at Grangefield School in Stockton gave novice drivers and riders a chance to experience the thrill of driving or riding for the first time under supervision.

The event was so successful, the company is planning more in the near future.
