Baker’s huge risk pays off

JULIE HOLLAND had been cooking at home for years, but taking the plunge to become a commercial baker and risking her personal savings in the venture was a huge risk.
Luckily, it paid off when she took over the Zetland Road bakery in Loftus late last year.
The smell of homemade beef pasties, cakes and bread which began wafting from the refurbished bakehouse soon had customers coming back for more.
