Housing contracts won

A MIDDLESBROUGH company is celebrating securing a series of contracts supporting the provision of affordable homes in the Tees Valley area.

Tabner Plastering Contractors will carry out work on 18 homes being built for Coast and Country Housing by social housing specialists Southdale Homes.

The development, on a greenfield site in Allendale Road, Ormesby, is providing 12 homes for rent and six for shared ownership, and is being part-funded by a £500,000 Affordable Housing Grant from the Housing Corporation.

The contract is worth £62,000 for Tabner, which has also been awarded an £80,000 contract by White Hart Developments on 21 two-bedroom flats being built at Wellington Walk, Stockton.

Tabner has also won a £70,000 contract to install flooring in the new £40m Northern Rock offices, at Rainton Bridge, near Sunderland.
