THERE is just a day left to enter the eighth annual Constructing Excellence in the North East's (CENE) Awards in which companies can show how they have made their mark in the region's built environment.
The current economic climate may be tough and the North East is one of the hardest hit regions, but CENE believes it is important to highlight the excellence that is present and even more reason to celebrate its successes.
The CENE Twenty Twelve Awards are open to both members and non-members, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony and dinner at the Newcastle Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel on May 11.
The categories include Leadership & People Development, Sustainability, Integration & Collaborative Working, Health & Safety, Heritage, Value, Innovation, SME of the Year, Achiever of the Year, Client of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Consultant of the Year, Young Achiever and Project of the Year. The winners from each category will go on to compete in the National Constructing Excellence Awards.
Applications must be received to the CENE office by 5pm today.
