Jobs firm Zenith People tees off for local hospice

A CHARITY Golf Day organised by recruitment consultants Zenith People for St. Clare’s Hospice raised over £1,000 to help patient services in the Jarrow based Hospice.

Alan Metcalfe, General Manager and Dan Barton, Marketing Consultant from Zenith People handed over the final cheque from the event of £800.

This completed the companies fundraising efforts and combined with the proceeds from a raffle on the day, £1,230 was raised for St Clare’s.

Dan said, “I really enjoyed working on the Golf Day.

“It was great to organise something which benefited our local hospice and also have the opportunity to network with other companies.

“ This was our first Golf Day, so we were delighted to raise just over £1,000 and we hope to organise another next year with even more players. ”

On Friday June 10th the Golf Day was held at Boldon Golf Course and showcased eight teams made up of players from a number of local businesses.

The line up included players from Zenith People, Shaun Matthias Painting and Decorating, Filtrona , A & P Tyne, South Tyneside Business Forum, South Tyneside Manufacturing Forum , Schofield Electricals, Hanson Wealth Management and SEMTA.
