THE growing career opportunities available in the marine design sector will be showcased at a major recruitment fair in Newcastle on July 2.

The Marine Recruitment and Skills Fair, sponsored by The Journal, is the first of its type and comes as companies are seeking to recruit new blood to meet a high demand for their services across the globe. The event, organised by the Marine Design Centre, will take place at the city’s Discovery Museum.

Presentations during the event will focus on helping individuals and companies to develop skills and identify what support is available for industry.
