Baby show neighbours were TV's apprentices

Glassmakers Mr Connell and Ms Hart set up their business in 2005 and have now attended three more Baby Shows since their initial Earl’s Court experience.

Mr Connell said: “As 50% of the women attending the shows are still pregnant, the introduction of a mail order initial impression kit has proved invaluable.

“We are now getting orders from all over the country and a few from Europe due to the introduction of our kits and we have even had enquiries from America and Tasmania.”

The kits mean parents can take impressions of their children’s hands and feet at home and post them to Corbridge, where the Crystal Imprint plaques are created.
