IT GROUP Perfect Image has completed a six-figure deal with the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) to make its services more accessible to its members.
The Newcastle company upgraded the NECC’s customer relationship management system, which will make it easier for its 4,000 members to sign up for registration, training and events.
The process involved liaising with seven different departments right across the organisation including IT, marketing, international trade and accounts to ensure that the users of the system would be satisfied.
NECC head of systems Michael Dawson said: “Collaboration was the key to really delivering a product that was polished, refined and fit for purpose.
“We look forward to commencement of the next phase of our project where we start adding the extras.”
The CRM system, which uses the latest Microsoft technology, will enable NECC to deliver a superior service to the region’s businesses and make it easier for NECC staff to handle customer enquiries.
Charlie Nettle, head of marketing at the NECC, said: “We recently introduced Microsoft CRM at NECC, however, it is already proving invaluable to our business and helping us to manage our customer relationships more effectively.”
