New £3.5m scheme for Bowesfield
A TEESSIDE business park is pushing ahead with development, announcing a £3.5m contract to construct three new office buildings.
Property company Banks Developments said builders Tolent will construct almost 25,000sq ft of office space at Bowesfield, Stockton.
Construction has already begun, with a view to the first buildings being available for occupation from next spring.
Bowesfield is a mixed use development containing 10 acres of new homes and a 30-acre business park set next to a 37-acre nature reserve.
It is already home to developments by Barratt Homes, David Barlow Homes and McInerney Homes, as well as commercial premises.
The new offices will be the first of five to be built on the site, for which Banks Developments won planning permission in 2006.
