Record entries for NOF prizes

RECORDED entries have flooded in for an annual award for businesses in the energy sector.

NOF Energy, the North-East business development organisation for the oil, gas and related energy sectors has attracted its best yet level of entries for its annual awards.

It has received 30 entries with the winners being announced at an awards ceremony at Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield, County Durham, on December 6.

George Rafferty, chief executive of NOF Energy, said: “We are delighted with the number and the calibre of entries we have received for this year’s awards.”

The awards to be presented at the event are Company of the Year, sponsored by Stapleton International Ltd; International Business, sponsored by Business Travel Ltd; Progressing People, sponsored by TTE International Ltd; Innovation and Technology, sponsored by Recognition Marketing and PR; and Most Promising Newcomer, sponsored by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
