Clock is ticking away to deadline for entries
TIME is running out to enter the North East Business Awards.
Friday is the closing date for the awards, organised by the Evening Gazette and its sister paper The Journal.
Winners from three sub-regions - Tees Valley, Durham and Wearside, and Tyneside and Northumberland - will go forward to battle it out at the North-east final on May 1, 2008.
Companies across the region must submit their entries by Friday’s 5pm deadline.
The categories are: Small Business; Corporate Social Responsibility; Export; Internet and ICT; Innovation; Environment; Learning, Training and Skills; Technology; Services; Manufacturing; Best Cultural and Creative Business (North East final only) and Company of the Year.
The Tyneside and Northumberland awards take place on February 28, followed by Tees Valley’s event on March 6 and the Durham and Wearside event on March 13.
Individual companies and organisations can enter a maximum of three separate categories.
Entries must relate to activity during 2007.
