Nominations call for accountancy awards
THE search is on for the region’s most successful finance and accounting professionals.
Organisers of the Nigel Wright North East Accountancy Awards are calling for nominations from individuals, teams, branches and companies.
Now in their second year, the awards take place on June 5, at Hilton Newcastle, Gateshead, and new categories have been introduced to encourage more nominations from smaller, independent firms.
The categories for 2008 are:
Finance Director of the Year
Accountant of the Year
Young Accountant of the Year
Part Qualified Accountant of the Year
Accounting Technician of the Year
Branch of the Year
Independent Firm of the Year
Employer of the Year
Corporate Finance Deal of the Year
Business Finance Team of the Year
Public Sector Finance Team of the Year
Outstanding Achievement of the Year
