Networking goes green

A NEW GREEN Business Network is to be launched for Tees Valley companies to help them meet the environmental challenge.
Backed by the Environment Agency, Renew Tees Valley and Envirowise, with support from local authorities, business advice organisations, the regional development agency and the University of Teesside, it will provide a free signposting service to navigate the maze of organisations and advice available locally.
The project, which has a website at www.greenteesvalley.org, will be unveiled at the Partners4Engineering conference at the Wynyard Rooms, Billingham, tomorrow. It will share a platform with other environmentally focused organisations, including Amec engineering, the Centre for Process Innovation’s hydrogen fuel cell project and Aker Kvaerner Energy division.
To register for the conference, including one-to-one sessions with exhibitors, log on to: www.partners4engineering2008.co.uk.
