A NEW partnership has been launched to help the region’s high-technology firms crack the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets.
The County Durham Development Company (CDDC) and science and technology park NETPark have teamed up with Australian global partnership expert ITECPlace to help businesses access South-east Asian supply chains such as Korea, Taiwan, India, Singapore and Australia - which represent more than US$100bn opportunities for ICT products and services.

Meanwhile, oil, gas and energy companies hoping to develop ties with Norway can attend an NOF Energy workshop at ‘Rediscover North East England’, being held at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead Quayside, next Wednesday.
The event will showcase the quality of the North-east oil and gas industry supply chain and be attended by Norwegian companies.
