Energy firm in Granite City role

NOF Energy, the North East of England-based business development organisation for the oil, gas and energy-related sectors, has established a new office in Aberdeen.

The organisation, which has close to 300 members across the UK, has launched its Aberdeen office to support its members and to develop NOF Energy’s position in the Scottish energy sector.

Located within the head office of Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, NOF Energy’s Aberdeen operation will also offer a hot-desk facility for UK members visiting the city.

George Rafferty, chief executive of NOF Energy, said: “Establishing a permanent presence in Aberdeen will be of huge benefit to our UK members trading in the North East Scotland market.

“This is the first major development in our strategic alliance with the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce and I am sure it will bring advantages to members of both organisations.”

Geoff Runcie, chief executive of Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce said: “We look forward to welcoming the organisation and its members through our doors as they discover the opportunities open to them in the Granite City.”
