Finalists go head to head

THE battle of the businesses is under way as voting continues for the Evening Gazette’s two finalists in the If We Can, You Can challenge to find Teesside’s leading entrepreneur.

Nathan Robinson, who runs Barclay Elsdon Lettings in Saltburn, has gone head to head with fireman Matt Stirland from Guisborough, who plans to launch Playhouse, a health clubs for kids. The two finalists from 120 entrants were shortlisted by a judging panel of leading entrepreneurs, business support organisation Business Link North East and Gazette editor Darren Thwaites.

Both are keeping an online blog as part of the voting process.

Matt’s health club idea has already had the thumbs up from one voter who said it was “just what kids and parents need”.
