POLITICAL commentator, journalist and former cabinet minister Michael Portillo is coming to Newcastle to talk to businesses next week.
He will address an audience of executives from the region at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle on Tuesday at an event organised by Tyneside law firm Mincoffs to celebrate its merger with Teesside firm Jacksons.
Partner at Mincoffs Richard Arnot said: “This is the third of our annual lunches and we are looking forward to hearing from Michael, who has a reputation as an engaging and entertaining speaker. He follows in the footsteps of Alistair Campbell and Kelvin McKenzie and will give us a light hearted view of the world of politics and his life as ‘the greatest leader the Conservative Party never had’.”
