Get creative - for free

THE Institute of Digital Innovation (IDI) at the University of Teesside has launched its final programme of free workshops for people in the region’s creative sector.

Some of the region’s leading names in the creative industries will host the workshops, which will include writing scripts for film, pitching scripts ideas, PR for the creative industries, successful sales and protecting ideas.

The first workshop, an Introduction to Soundtrack Pro and Colour, will be hosted on Tuesday, July 29, from 9.30am in the university’s Aurora House. Industry expert Ian Bailey will lead the debate on the industry’s standard editing software, Final Cut Pro.

The IDI is planning to hold several more workshops before the end of September.
