Name will reflect services

BUSINESS Link North East has changed the name of its holding company to Business and Enterprise North East.

BLNE will still trade under its current name but said it wants to change its company name to reflect the wider range of services it now offers.

A spokesman said: “As well as delivering Business Link services, Business and Enterprise North East also delivers the North East England Investment Centre and the North East England Service Provider Register – which are additional to the Business Link services.

“This meant that it was no longer accurate to refer to the holding company as Business Link North East.

“There will be no changes in the way that Business Link services are branded, accessed by businesses or delivered.”
