Awards seeking nominees
A TEES Valley awards ceremony that recognises individuals and businesses that contribute to cultural diversity is looking for nominees.
Organised by Stockton training firm Cultures, which works with employees from non-British backgrounds seeking work here as well as employers recruiting in foreign territories, the not-for-profit awards are part of A Taste of Africa month-long celebration of African art and culture, now in its fifth year.
Organiser Sade Sangowawa said: “So many people deserve major recognition for their work in African and minority communities and this is the only awards ceremony that specifically recognises both individuals and organisations that are making a difference.”
Categories include an award for best multi-cultural business contribution and for corporate social responsibility.
