THE organisation which represents the region’s subsea oil and gas industry is hosting an event showcasing opportunities.

Organised for Subsea North East by NOF Energy, the event on October 1 will focus on how field development is conceived, engineered and run. At St James’s Park, Newcastle, the event will welcome prominent speakers from major groups.

The region’s subsea sector is a beacon of excellence. Firms in Subsea North East include Bel Valves, Duco and Wellstream.

Subsea executive committee chairman Chris Braithwaite said: “Some of the world’s most renowned names in the subsea sector will be at our annual event showcasing the impressive strides this region has made to position itself at the forefront of the industry.
