Clean and green for pets
AN ECO-MINDED cleaning company is branching into the pet market.
Stokesley-based manufacturer Deeply Clean has launched a range of innovative pet grooming and cleaning products using macrofibre, a patented version of microfibre that requires no cleaning solutions.
The company has struck a deal with the UK’s largest online pet store - Newcastle-based www.pet-supermarket.co.uk, UK-wide garden centre chain Dobbies and is also in talks with Pets At Home.
The family-run company’s range was hailed a huge success when it launched at this year’s Glee PetIndex exhibition at Birmingham's NEC.
Kate Stanley, from Deeply Clean, said: “Everything about us is environmentally-friendly. We manufacture in the UK and all our products are 100% recyclable. Green products are a growing market, people are becoming so much more aware both inside the home and out.”
Meanwhile, Hartlepool-based industrial cleaning firm Krystal Cleaning Services, is planning to sell its eco-friendly solutions to the domestic market with a bring-your-own container scheme.
The company will keep its Teesside client base, which includes Brambles and Country Valley Foods, and open offices and an outlet in Shotton Colliery.
