Don’t miss a double chance of winning

THERE are just two days to go to be in with a chance of winning at the nebusiness Awards.

The window of opportunity closes at 5pm on Friday - the deadline for this year’s honours.

Organised by the Evening Gazette and its sister paper, The Journal, on Tyneside, the awards aim to recognise achievement, encourage excellence and celebrate success.

But a partnership between the North East Digital Awards and the nebusiness Awards is letting firms double their chances of winning.

All entries to the North East Digital Awards before this Friday will automatically be submitted to the internet and ICT category of the nebusiness Awards.

Funded by regional development agency One NorthEast and managed by The North East Regional Portal, the digital awards are open for entries until February 27. Entries are submitted online at www.northeast digitalawards08.co.uk and winners will be formally announced at an awards ceremony in March 2009.

David Simms, commercial director at NCJ Media, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with the North East Digital Awards to promote and generate entries into this year’s award categories. One entry into either The North East Digital Awards or the nebusiness awards will automatically, subject to meeting the necessary criteria, be entered into both awards. One entry, double the opportunity.”

There are 12 awards at this year’s nebusiness Awards, including a trio of new categories - Public Sector Organisation of the Year, Employer of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.

Entries can be made by logging on to the website at northeastbusinessawards.co.uk

or contact Kirsty Tarn on 0191 201 6072.
