Our commitment to bring you more news than ever before

THE North East's leading business website launches a fresh new look tomorrow – with the promise that we will be featuring more of the region's business news than ever before.
The www.nebusiness.co.uk will unveil its new appearance at 10am tomorrow, providing more opportunities for interactivity and improved navigation, making it easier to find your way around the site.
You will still be able to find the existing range of stories, direct from the pages of the The Journal and our sister title, The Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough, plus our brilliant live share prices service and our trading game, Taking Stock.
And the site will be updated with the latest breaking business news as it happens during the course of the day, as well as a range of unique online content including video, blogs, picture galleries, podcasts, online forums and live streaming from events.
We are also committed to making sure that we cover every aspect of life in the North East business community, from the biggest multinational firms to the smallest start-ups. So, from tomorrow, we will be launching a section dedicated to some of the stories which we do not currently carry in our daily nebusiness supplement in The Journal. This section will be divided into stories about new contract wins, appointments, business awards and business events. It will be updated daily and we have set up new email addresses so, if you have a story for us, you can can direct it to the right place.
We will also be launching our new nebusiness Twitter feed which allows you to ‘follow’ our business writers, getting bite-sized chunks of business news from the region as it happens.
Andrew Hebden, The Journal’s head of business and business development, said: "nebusiness.co.uk is already well established as the leading website for the North East business community with visitor numbers increasing every month.
"We recognise, however, that there is still much more that we can offer and this relaunch aims to reflect that, with new Twitter feeds, revamped sections for commercial property, small business and farming, as well as an expanded business news section."
