Seekers looking to grow
HARTLEPOOL PR firm Publicity Seekers said it would expand into Yorkshire next year as business accelerated. The likely location for a second branch is Leeds.
Founded by former journalists Samantha Lee and Jonathan Ward in 2006, the firm said it doubled turnover last year after expanding its services to include social media strategies for clients and training for smaller companies to execute their own campaigns.
“Our expertise lies in the traditional media of newspapers, magazines, TV and radio but we continue to keep abreast of new media and how they can be best utilised for our clients,” said Mr Ward, pictured.
Two PR professionals will join its Hartlepool team by the end of the year.
Miss Lee will take responsibility for the Leeds office, which should be operational by late 2010.
