Event could lead to birth of businesses

A SEMINAR that could prove the catalyst for the launch of new business opportunities in the North-East is set to take place.

The world of franchising will come under the spotlight on October 15, at an event hosted by law firm BHP Law.

The seminar, at the company's Newcastle office on The Quayside, will give both existing and potential franchisors a detailed insight into how the practice can generate highly successful results.

A first-class line-up of guest speakers will offer delegates expert tips and guidance on how to make the most of franchising, which has become an increasingly popular method of growing businesses in recent years.

They will discuss an array of subjects including explaining what is franchising, the benefits of franchising, the franchisor-franchisee relationship and the legal protections to put in place.
